Some male drivers may still believe the myth that they are in some way superior to their female counterparts, but a new study has revealed that women are better at parking their vehicles.
This revelation was made by the Car Park Operator NEP. After a thorough study it concluded that although women take a relatively long time to park, they have comparatively less trouble aligning their vehicles in a space.
Men are apparently more interested in showing their prowess by parking in tight spots when accompanied by female drivers, than in showing consideration for their fellow motorists by leaving space between car doors.
A celebrity driving instructor said, “I was quite surprised by the result, because in my experience men have always been the best learners and usually performed better in lessons.
“However, it’s possible that women retain the information better. The Read more…

Most people consider insurance when it comes to their car or their house because it’s required in order to get a loan. But renter’s insurance is another thing. Many renters live under misconceptions about the need for insurance. For example, some believe that the landlords insurance will cover them in case of theft, or their roommates insurance will include them, or that they are still covered under their parents homeowners insurance. The truth is, in order to protect your belongings you must get coverage for them yourself.

Usually, double yellow lines stretch quite a few metres, or down an entire road, stopping you from parking where you desperately want to be able to.
However, some new double yellow lines in Stafford Street in Norwich won’t be much of a hindrance to motorists, because they’re only 17 inches (43cm) in length.
Located opposite a pub, the lines are long enough to stop four toy cars from parking up, but are unlikely to make much of a difference for real-size vehicles and their drivers.
The pub landlord stated, “I thought the country was skint – but it appears that people can still spend money on daft things like this. There just doesn’t seem any point in having such short lines.

— Ohio Lieutenant Governor and Department of Insurance Director Mary Taylor revoked the resident insurance agent license of Sheri Lyn Sharp, of Burlington, Kentucky, for violations of Ohio insurance law.
Sharp wrote approximately 52 insurance policies from February through July 2008 using fictitious names so she could meet her sales quota and earn commissions. Ohio insurance law allows the Director to revoke any license of an insurance agent for soliciting, procuring an application for, or placing, either directly or indirectly, any insurance policy when the person is not authorized to engage in such activity.
For those reasons, Sharp’s Ohio resident insurance agent license was revoked by the Ohio Department of Insurance on July 21, 2011.

The simple fact is that we live in an increasingly litigious society. Just like the rest of us, attorneys are out trying to make a living in a tough economy. Frivolous or opportunistic lawsuits are a legitimate concern for most of us, but they are also a significantly growing concern for medical professionals.
Most medical professionals carry malpractice insurance policies with professional liability coverage, or the hospitals and care centers that they work for have policies that cover professional errors or actions while on the job.

The Netcars.com survey, also found that more than one in ten males took longer deciding what make and model of car to have than what they should call their children or what house they should buy.
Apparently, the over-55s are the easiest to please when it comes to buying cars as 70 percent of this age group said they took less than three months to make a purchase.
Meanwhile, drivers aged 25-34 are more deliberate and more protracted in making their purchase – four percent of this age group owned up to taking more than 12 months to make a decision. < Read more…

One of the things that a lot of people want to know is if cheap insurance is still good, especially when it comes to life insurance. The simple answer is yes but that all depends on a few things. In order to tell if an insurance policy is good or not you need to look at more than just the policy, you need to look at the company as a whole. Trust me on this, if you don’t look at the entire life insurance company then you won’t know anything that goes on behind the basic policy.
One of the reasons why I say cheap life insurance is still good is because the insurance is not what is cheap, the policy is. No Read more…
